My Bio
I’m Bret Rohde, a devoted husband, father of seven, and proud grandfather of 16. As a lifelong resident, I’ve raised my family here and served our community with dedication. I’m running for mayor to give you a choice—the first time in12 years—and to unite us through open communication. My slogan, “Your Vote, Your Voice, Tremonton United” reflects my commitment to your voice.
Since 2013, I’ve served on the Tremonton City Council, learning that listening is the core of leadership. In 2025, I introduced the Strategic Plan, with pillars—Connected to the Good Life, Each Other, Peace and Security, and Positive Well-Being—guiding my campaign. My 32-year healthcare career (retired 2018), hospital board service, and scoutmaster role taught me to prioritize people. As adjunct faculty at Utah State and Weber State, with a Master’s in Science, I’ve
empowered others.
As mayor, I’ll drive economic development, veteran recognition, safety, and transparency, using town halls, a citizen feedback app, and
a public dashboard to amplify your voice. When not serving, I’m fishing, exploring technology, or with family. Cherishing family time. I’m here to listen and lead. Together, let’s shape Tremonton’s bright future!

Government Transparency
I believe strongly in transparent government, where open communication and accountability build trust between leaders and residents. Encouraging and valuing citizens’ input is essential to creating policies that truly reflect the community’s needs and aspirations.
Water Conservation
To preserve Tremonton’s water resources, I advocate for infrastructure upgrades like piped delivery systems and smart irrigation controllers to enhance efficiency and ensure sustainable availability. Transparent dashboards providing real-time data on water levels and usage empower citizens with clear insights, fostering trust and informed community participation in conservation efforts.
Economic Development
I strongly support fostering economic development by attracting diverse industries and retail to Tremonton, as this growth generates sales tax revenue to ease the burden of real estate taxes. By channeling these funds into infrastructure improvements, we can enhance roads, utilities, and public spaces, creating a thriving, sustainable city for all residents.
